What does therapy with young adults look like?
Our approach to treatment with young adults involves traditional one-on-one talk therapy. We start the process by cultivating a strong therapeutic alliance, gaining a better understanding of current difficulties, and establishing your goals for our work together. We will meet weekly or bi-weekly to provide emotional support, guidance, and research-based tools to help you navigate the complexities of life and achieve your personal and professional goals. We recognize that young adulthood is marked by significant transitions such as moving away from home, starting college or a career, entering into serious relationships, and/or becoming financially independent. We are dedicated to supporting you through those transitions, empowering you to make well-informed choices, and facilitating personal growth and well-being.
